Cocoa Butter Extraction Solution- Press, Peeling, Baking And Extraction Production Line

To harness cacao butter, the beans are harvested from the cacao pods, and then cleaned and roasted. Next, the beans are stripped from their shells and crushed into nibs, which are then ground into a liquid known as cocoa liquor. This liquid is then pressed to separate the fat. This fat, friends, is cacao butter.

Cocoa butter is a pure, stable fat that is probably best known for its presence in body and face lotions. However, it is also used in cooking, in both sweet and savory recipes. Cocoa butter, also called cacao butter, has the flavor and aroma of cocoa and is considered a vegetable fat. 

Cocoa butter is pale yellow and is sold in solid form; it needs to be melted before cooking. It is used to make white chocolate and other chocolate bars, giving the confection its smooth and silky mouthfeel. Because of its texture and long shelf life, cocoa butter is also used as an ingredient in skin-care products.

Cocoa bean pre-treatment process
The cocoa bean pre-treatment process includes cocoa bean baking, cooling, and peeling process.

First clean up the cocoa beans, remove ferrous metals, oversized pieces, debris, and stones with cocoa bean cleaner. Then use the cocoa bean winnower to remove the outer of shell from the beans to obtain the cocoa nibs. Cocoa bean roaster is used for roast the cocoa beans, reduce moisture content and destroy bacteria. When baking cocoa beans, it can produce unique flavors, reduce moisture content and eliminate bacteria.
