Product Description
Dingsheng Machine provides professional castor oil refining equipment designed to convert crude castor oil into high-quality refined castor oil. The complete refining system integrates degumming, neutralization, bleaching, deodorization, and filtration processes, ensuring excellent oil quality and stable production performance.
The refining capacity ranges from 1 to 30 tons per day and can be customized according to different project requirements. With stable operation, low energy consumption, high automation, and easy maintenance, the system is widely used in small and medium-sized oil refineries.
Refined castor oil is widely applied in lubricants, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, coatings, plastics, biodiesel, and chemical industries.

Refining Process & Equipment
Main Refining Process Description
Degumming:
Hydration or acid degumming is used to remove phospholipids, gums, and impurities from crude castor oil. This process improves oil stability and reduces refining losses.
Neutralization:
Free fatty acids are removed through alkali refining. FFA reacts with sodium hydroxide to form soapstock, which is then separated to obtain neutral oil with low acid value.
Bleaching:
Under vacuum conditions, bleaching earth and activated carbon are used to remove pigments, oxidation products, and trace metals, improving oil color and purity.
Deodorization:
Under high vacuum and steam stripping, odor-causing compounds and residual volatile substances are removed, producing odorless and high-purity refined castor oil.
Fine Filtration:
Final filtration removes fine impurities, ensuring the refined oil is clean, clear, and stable for storage and industrial applications.
